Anyone have the stats on how much power the normal computer uses?

I sure hope so.

You should watch how you phrase your sentences, I could misinterpret that remark.

Dumbfuck. A company charges out Engineering time at a considerably higher rate than the engineer(s) involved actually make. For you to not know this is a stark tell about your claims about having been in the industry.

Even our $8.00 an hour assemblers get "charged out" at over $50 an hour.

Got clue?

I Never said I did.

I Never did that either.

Liar.

I never bragged bout my income in here ever. I merely said that you searching up posts on someone is a troll behavior, and a poor use of time for someone "worth" so much.

You better hope that I never choose to "have a good time" with you.

You never bragged about your income???....hmmmmm...what was that claim of $50 in 15 minutes....what a joke! You have no idea how to really make money....Ask me.!...I could show you how it's REALLY done....Oh, I forgot...your horizon is 10 years.........Like that is a game plan!!!!!!!!!!

This shouldn't come as a great surprise to anyone who has used Usenet for any significant period of time.

Bottom posting is the norm, any anyone who complains about the difference between top posting and bottom posting, simply must have an excess amount of time on his/her hands, or has yet to learn that the world does not care about their personal whims.

Sorry, I guess you meant to post the message in E-mail to DM, but it ended up on the public board, for all to see.

Yes, I did research it. I concluded that it was not true, and posted that.

Exactly; Its funny, Netscape 4.75 defaults to top posting while Mozilla defaults to bottom. I cannot believe some people get so worked up about this topic. It is also a hoot when someone inadvertently uses cap lock. Now all beleive he is SHOUTING. If I recall, teletype was all caps, were people SHOUTING all the time back then? By the way it has been a long time since people have complained about the "bandwidth" being wasted. I guess they all got their DSL and now are posting their plethora of vile comments about top posting. Personally I have only 56K so I have to wait for all these inane topics to scroll down.

It has nothing to do with the company I work for. It is my idea.

I do not care what your feelings are.

Now, in his dillusional state, he thinks he's a member of the Gates family.....Laughable....extremely laughable! As usual, he never addresses the issue...Just starts a new Troll topic.....Blasted on drugs again! Hit the bong again DoperBoy!

What a fool....now he tells us he made a $400 million dollar commission???? Yeah, right. And you still go to work as an engineer??? Let's get real here. Not even you, DopeMatter, could be THAT stupid! And believe me, if you actually did sell 40 million units, the price would NOT stay the same nor would the commission. What a joke! You must think everyone in the ng's are as stupid as yourself! What a pitiful, prevaricating blowhard! By the way, nice grammar.... He quotes "$40 million devices at $150.00 each" Dollar sign before the 40???? And wonderful math skills He quotes "Lemmie know when you get a 5.6 billion dollar idea" Uhhh....isn't that 6 billion....when he tells a lie, it's not even a good one! The drugs have done their damage!....the scitzophrenia, manic depression, dillusions of granduer and rage...all symptomatic! Those boots are still on HumpMatter and they are still kicking your sorry Roach Ass!

Another solution which should make everybody happy, but also show up the whole nonsense of the pettiness, is to top-post in essence, but to intersperse the top-post in its entirety after the first letter, only, of the quoted material, as in this example. So, this reply is top-posted in essence, but follows all the silly "rules" by being interspersed.

Anybody still complaining?

I cannot understand either why people get so worked up about something that is merely a question of personal choice; the whole bigotry was addressed quite well by Swift in his description of those who were emotionally wound up about cracking open their boiled eggs at the large or the small end.

It is so ridiculous.

One solution,. which should make everybody happy, is to post BOTH at the top and at the bottom, as in this reply.

Once again you've missed the point and are pointing out what was a generalisation as the worst mistake ever made, since not drowning you at birth that is.

Yes! TTY used only caps because it was such a loud monster! I was a youngster way back then, my parents did not allow me to put the ASR33 in my room.

And did you get my point about trimming the msg you respond to?
