Doug exaggerates just a tad. There's only a handful of *practical* profiles available with this design, and the prototype will be different from the production version(s). I've already made design changes on paper based on having handled and assembled the first prototype.

While it's true that hybrids can't match the super-high-thrust of some of the highest-thrust solids, the perception that they're not capable of much lifting is somewhat misleading. Last summer, one of my 100mm baby 'M' prototypes lifted, *with substantial authority* a 6" diameter vehicle with a G.L.O.W. of around 50lbs, to an altitude of 8000ft. Changes to the injector design will produce a higher efficiency motor, which will get tested at Roc Lake the same weekend as LDRS. Peak acceleration was over 10g, which indicates substantial headroom for lifting heavier vehicles.
