1/24 Airfix Me109

Hello all

Just picked one of these up for £15, am now looking to spend far more on detail sets ;-)

What sets are available for this kit in the UK please? (or indeed from overseas provided the p&p isn't too ridiculous...)

Good luck, there isn't much out there on either side of the pond. On the other hand, in 1/24th scale find a decent parts manual and fabricate your own :-)

Just build it OOB. It turns out OK as long as no one looks up into the wheel wells.

Thanks for the replies - I was afraid there might not be much (or indeed anything!) available...

Grahm:

There is a Gent here in the U.S. who makes 1/24 etched sets of rudder pedals, seat belt buckles and German instruments, Fred Hultberg, calls himself "the Ol Etcher". Look for products by "Foto Cut". I'm not sure if he has an e-mail address, but someone on here ought to have the answer.

Talking of which, any good (preferably online) views up into the wheelwells of the 109B/C or E? None of my books seem to help in this area, Cheers, Bill.

Thanks Bill - unfortunately I can't find an email address for this chap. Only thing I've turned up so far is a Luftwaffe WWII Fighter Harness from here:

Still, that will be a start!
