I recently visited a shop that had 1/72 scale Korean War F-51Ds by Italeri, Tamiya and Academy. Which is the best kit?

Tamiya, by far.
I agree, got all 3, Tamiyas the one for me, better than the one by Academeeeeeeeee
I, too would second the motion by the gentleman from Little Rock. (Al).
The Tamiya kit is by far the better of the bunch. The only thing it really needs is to have the flaps dropped.

The Academy kit or the hasagawa lits aere the best F-15D's.
That's my take too. Al's got it right.

quite a big differance between a WW2 Prop P51 and a F15 Jet fighter bomber....
