surely someone has built the airfix 1/144 and can tell me about problems or corrections? i've already found all the doors and hatches to be lousy fits, any other surprises. and i can't find any clear phillipine airlines pics.
You have to fill in the treenches around the engine fan shrouds. They represent the thrust reverser doors and unless you want to cut all the slats and flaps loose of the wing and scratch a lot of stuff they have to be eliminated. Al S has a laundry list of other things wrong with the Airfix kit, too.

You mean other than the utter lack of the rather prominent wing root fairings and the grossly overthick vertical tail? I can't think of any others offhand...... ;-p
