Simple. Suprised you couldn't figure it out. The text is a mizture of the other person's words and my words. I want to make sure everyone understands which are my sentances.

Face facts. Many folks here in RMS are easily confused.

No, please do not take my musings as copyrighted material. Feel free to pass my words on to all your friends, especially if they are voters.

Vess:

Most of the commentators on the Tube seem to think it is a pretty tight election as of this moment. So what are you looking at that makes you smarter than them?? As one Gent commented during the Democratic Convention, surveys show that the average convention delegate is really farther left than the party rank and file. That's those Socialist "infiltrators" showing up, but which way the election will go is still an open subject. It probably will depend on how the economy goes in the next few months. As a friend pointed out the other day, the casualty toll of American troops in Iraq is exceeded on a monthly basis by the murder rate in the two biggest American cities, staying home is dangerous too.

What your friend seems to overlook is the difference in reproachability of the casualties concerned. I could imagine that the American public holds your government directly responsible for the war casualties, but that murder casualties are regarded as the result of a society problem that cannot be solved easily in one government's term.

And the bill boards read "Who is the Manchurian Candidate?"

I know who it is, it's John Kerry

John McCain, maybe the "Hanoi Candidate"?? Actually, at the 1960 Socialist convention one of the leaders spoke about doing just what I said above. He said if they re titled their initiatives as "Progressive Democratic ideas" that the American People would "Lap them up like milk". He was perhaps a bit optimistic, but they have definitely had success selling many of the Socialist programs to the less intelligent people who tend to regard anything generous as just good Christian behavior. On the other hand, one of the ideas that came out of the 19th Century Socialist Ideologues basket was the inclusion of the middle class, the hated "Bourgeoisie" as being the main enemy of Socialist progress. The rich class was so small in numbers as to be irrelevant in a voting democracy, there for the real stumbling block to the advance of Socialism was the resistance of the middle class to their programs. The middle class must be dis-armed (call it gun control), assailed politically (silence their organized groups through campaign finance "reform"), economically (lots of taxes), and in the end reduced to a politically ineffective force unable to protect the rich class further. How successful they will be on this one, the jury is still out. If their efforts to ideologically dominate the Ivy League colleges is successful, and they can continue to indoctrinate the people like the Kennedys and Kerrys and Bloomburgs, and yes, the Vess Irvines of this Country, the United States may yet go down the rathole of Socialism.

Easy.

John Kerry is a sniveling little freak who was too chicken shit to go to Canada, then he volunteered for Swift Boats to prove to his parents that he was not a panzy assed sissy. Then the creep turned on his commander and chief and slandered the crap out of all the good, honorable me with whom he served, making them out to be crazed, blood thirsty savage raping bastards, which of course they were not. They were just Americans, answering the call of their country.

Liberal shit shuckers like you make me sick and dishonor all that America has stood for for over 200 years.

I'm sure you would be the first to pick and choose your wars. Unfortunately, the honorable amoungst us don't do that or we would still be worshiping an English King.

Over to you commie.
