I figured it was AOL (POS) I had 78 messages unread, only yours showed up.

Well.........I had trouble getting the Verizon news reader squared away. It was working for a while last night but after I closed it to eat dinner and tried to reopen it in Outlook Express, I couldn't even locate it at all. I'm now trying a different reader on a trial period basis; and I thought computers were supposed to make ones life easier. HA!
I do have the standard MS Outlook on my MS Office toolbar and know I can access that. Problem is, I can't seem to find a way to access newsgroups with it. Does anyone know how I can read configure it to go through the Verizon news to read the newsgroups?
Back to being only a handful out of more than fifty today. Yesterday some of my posts from 1/7/05 finally appeared.
I wonder f these cretins are intentionally dumping posts to force as many people as possible to dump aol before they do away with newsgroup access?
Nah! They're not that bright.
Tom
I would not be at all surprised. Even though I've been with AOL since
1992, once I get my newsgroup reader and get my verizon e-mail set-up squared away, I will probably drop them.Cheers.....Bill Woodier
shit can that crap. get the nx201.zip. in the options, use news.verizon.net. you'll figure the rest easily. it will retrieve all the groups then you're home free.
