Got a card in snail mail from pace hobbies,saying they have been away for 5 years but are back,and looking for old kits.It said to just send the kits to them,and they will send a check back. So who would try that??? And I have seen them on ebay over the past year...any opinions on them?

If I had my stash of surplus kits ready to let go, I wouldn't think twice of just sending them the kits. This year marks 20 years ago that I started dealing with Charlie. I sure did miss him that 5 years when "what's her name" took over APC.
Charlie has always been a first rate guy to deal with.He was the original owner of APC hobbies. The guys he sold it to ruined it. Hub
thanks for the info...I remember APC,and had many good dealings with them 15-20 years ago.I didn't know he was Pace. It does still sound funny to just say"send me something and I'll send you money,sight unseen"...I'd still want some contact first. But will definitely do business with him.
Charlie and Dorothy are first-rate people and great at supporting modelers and the hobby. I have no qualms about this one, and he is one of the more honest folks out there.
