I would say they are "competitive". You can get cheaper, but that is only by shopping around for the kits that you want in your local Woolies or Toys R Us. It is very unlikely that Woolies would stock specialist items such as Czechmaster cockpit interiors etc: in which case we are stuck with Hannants. We also have to bear in mind that we have a rather expensive hobby.

they usually offer discounts off kits. Unfortunately the UK model market is so small that significant discounts are unlikely, though Wonderland do their best.
I have no connection to Wonderland, other than that of a happy customer.

i often buy a lot of stuff from that at shows, big discounts, i do know that when Revell have clearance stuff they buy a huge amount, my local model shop does the same but still sells at full rrp
you could try the aviation hobby shop [assuming you are resident here] as they don't charge postage on items to uk addresses ISTR. reach them at......
