All I can tell you is that our church (Cathloic) has given lots of $$$ to people in the Balkans, and the ME before, all by simple private citizens like me. They dont teach hate here, only acceptance, and love for fellow man.

It's not the religion, but the people MIS practicing it. Tho sadly, I do have my doubts about the Koran.

I guess the turmoil in Northern Ireland, the various Serbo-Croatian wars, the current Orthodox/Catholic turmoil in the Ukraine, and the Catholic church telling its parishoners in the US that if they don't vote their homophobic (?!) anti-science line, they will go to hell. Something you can't argue at all since you misread the original and failed to grasp its intent:

the first poster meant- anti-semitism was NOT DONE AWAY WITH IN EUROPE AND STILL FESTERS THERE. It was quite simple thing to figure out, well at least without a predisposition to misread the comment.

The original poster never stated that any particular European is anti-Semitic, only that anti-Semitism never died in Europe.

It's like saying that racism still exists in the US. Of course it is, but not all Americans are racist.
