I know that it is supposed to be painted in the overall body color. Early one were dark grey. BUT what about later in the war for the 251 D? Dark gray or the medium yellow type color?

The armour yellow would be sprayed all over the body at the factory. The exterior may be camouflaged prior to battle but the interiors would remain solid. hth
