I recall seeing something on the telly about this one - the thought was that it was all just a bit of beat-up for the Germans, to mislead them into thinking that the D-Day landings would take place on some broad beaches, not the cliffs (can't remember where - damn CRS again!). Whatever the reason for TGP's creation, the film of it is awesome!
