Why? Trojans also flew attack missions, this one may well have a good reason to be and look fierce.

Well, while that particular shark-mouth appears more well-fed than fierce, the T-28 did, in fact, serve successfully in an attack role for the US and Vietnamese in the Vietnam War, the French in western Africa, and probably other applications as well.

I remember seeing photos of Grumman Hellcats with shark mouths. It definately lost something in the translation.
