For those interested and living in the Maryland area, Tuesday evening at * P.M., "Sinking the Supership". This is the NOVA presentation on the Yamato. I know some have commented on the accuracy of what is presented but there apparently are pictures of the wreck taken by the Japanese Ocean Survey. Should be interesting even with the clangers.

Blown in half. Bow section upright and pointed towards the aft, which it upside down. The turrets are sitting upside down on the seabed, guns visible.
She sits in about 1300 feet of water.
