Anyone know the best conversion format for taking ACAD inventor files into Solidworks? Hoping for something that retains the features in SW rather than just "imported."

format - so maybe you can export SAT files from ACAD Inventor. You will probably have to reclaim features using featureworks though!

You wont really find anything that retains all features, if any. There is software available, but, it usually can only deal with generic extrudes revolves etc, nothing that has surface complexity, same with feature works, simple features yes/maybe, but nothing good with complex part shapes. (IMHO)
