Copy one sheet in a drawing to another

I've got a part with several different configurations that I want to copy sheets in a drawing to keep from having to recreate the detailing.

It's not a part that would suite a table very easily.

Can a sheet in a drawing be copied and pasted?

No, but you can copy and paste all the views to your new sheet and then change the configs.

I did find another way to do this - Insert a new sheet into the drawing, and Ctrl-drag and drop your drawing views onto the new sheet. They are placed exactly like the original.

Or, if there are several sheets, or even one with several views, how about doing a SaveAs to the new name, then delete the unwanted sheets and change the referenced configs.

This is what I have also done and it workes fairly good but it is a workaround.

Again, this is one of those times when it would be really nice to be be able to make any view, including the drawing, text etc. into a "flat" block that could be copied from one drawing to another. I had a standard "detail" that I needed to paste onto several drawings and I ended up using the above method but then hiding most of the support views.... pretty messy.

I'm not sure but it seems like 2007 has some help for this on the way?
