A friend of mine has just bought an interesting item, it is a hand powered pump made by the Pulsometer Engineering Company Ltd of Reading, Berks. Does anyone have any info on this company which could help me identify and date this pump ???

They were taken over or merged with Sigmund to form SPP or Sigmund Pulsometer Pumps Ltd. They were around quite recently and there are loads of references in Google for this company.
A trawl through will probably find references to the older part of the company.
