I find it difficult to believe Bachmann has invested so much in tooling and licensing a Class 57 if they do not also intend to produce a Class 47 using the same chassis. It makes no economic sense.

I think we will find that the tools for the 57 will be made with this in mind. It seems likely that a 47 will appear next year some time.
Then again, what do I know?
