Ferry stock

Anyone know of sources showing the livery of BR era Ferry opens (the tube and the eight plank open)

I have the details for the markings but not where they were applied

I have the ferry CCT presflo and lomac sorted and found a photo of an early SR ferry goods van on

Does anyone have a copy of SR Wagons Vol 4 to hand - Does this include any pics of ferry stock showing the livery (either SR or BR) ? - If it does I might just splash out on a copy.

No info found anywhere as yet on LNER ferry stock, although I have read somewhere they provided some.

Any pointers welcome - This is getting frustrating!

Thanks!

This is one area I hadn't bothered with much and I'm having trouble finding details of the livery and examples of SR or LNER ferry stock

Next update should be up in a week or two

Mike,

I tried to e-mail you directly, but got a delivery failure on your e-mail address.

I have modelled the BR 1/449 Ferry by modifying a Parkside LWB TUBE kit.

If you ever have need of transfers for such a model, I should have the design still available, though I don't list it.

I'd be happy to print off a set for you; (or I might even get round to doing a sheet of BR ferry markings - I'm going to need transfers for most of the ferry wagon designs in due course).

Regards, John Isherwood, Cambridge Custom Transfers.

You have several transfer sets that can be used for ferry stock, I'll be putting details in the available models section when I bring that up to date.
