I wouldn't put too much emphasis on it. What Dave planned to do was more of a question then what gunner was going to do. Gunner was a forgone conclusion. Now, Dave is a much more interesting.
Gunner will continue to circle the drain until his sorry is finally flushed down the drain. Dave says that he will spend money looking for me, but he would be better served sending the money invested in that to gunner so that we can watch his declining into homelessness a little longer.
