Printing - pen mapping

Hello!

I just installed ProE Wildfire after having used ProE 2000i2 for years.

With this new version, I encounter problems to print axis. With 2000i2, in the 2D drawing, the axis were displayed in yellow, the same colour as the dimentions. With Wildfire, in the 2D drawing, the axis are displayed in brown, which is not the same colour as the dimensions that are still yellow.

In my pen mapping file (table.pnt), I set pen 2 (text, dimensions, cross hatching, ...) to be fine. Printing drawings issued from 2000i2 gives good results, the axis are fine. Printing drawings issued from Wildfire is bad because the axis are bold-like, although the text is fine.

The problem seems to be that with Wildfire, axis printing is done with another pen (a new one?) than the yellow featuers, and I cannot find which one...

Does someone has an idea to make Wildfire print nice fine axis lines?

Thank you in advance! Greg.

Have you tried the help files? They have a pretty good explanation of how to map different colors to different pens.

Hello!

I found that finally the problem is not due to a bad pen mapping but to a wrong line type choice while creating the 2D drawings. For axes, a brown color is used instead of the yellow, as it should be.

I called PTC support and they told me that it was a bug of the 2003100 version of WildFire. This is now corrected on the last version of WildFire.

Greg.
