Just like reserving picnic areas. If people just congregate in one area they have a group picnic.

Yeah... So who was this and why was someone else needed for the job? He simply let a new person do the testing right?

When he left, TRA had a new person do the testing. Periodically TMT (and S&T) chairman change.

I think Cato quit but, I'm not positive. I'm sure Jerry & Bob will say he was thrown out.

Nothing wrong with that at all. In fact preferred.

I think he quit too.

There's a lot of "rare and uncommon" single incidents that have resulted in draconian legislation.Look at UK and Dunblaine.

No,the government authorities are fixated on the "uncommon".

yeah but, where does he stand on the Rocketry Question?

I don't know. What was the question again?

I have met the former Iowa Gov. Robert Ray, and he was Pro model rocketry. At one point we presented him with a well built Estes Goblin and D13. I'm guessing he never flew the D13.

At times, Iowa has high risk for grass fires. The difference is that Iowa rocketeers can openly fly their rockets in relative safety, while CA rocketeers are often compelled to sneak around and fly rockets from dry gulches.

Yeah he's pretty good at picking trolls out of the lineup. They are easy to spot. They spout the same crap over and over.

I'm NOT saying that liberalism = socialism. And I'm NOT saying that conservatism = socialism. What I *AM* saying is that our current 2 party system is the source of many problems, as BOTH parties embrace extreme fringe idealisms that lean towards restricting our civil liberties on either side.

Democrats tax and spend. Republicans spend and tax. What's the difference?

Try taking the Worlds Smallest Political Quiz yourself, and report back here where you end up.

Caused by too many years of stopping natural fires instead of letting them do what they are supposed to: renew the forests.

And too many people using up too much water.

You mean they had a new person NOT do the testing. Tom Blazanin (sp?)

Cato was FIRED for uncovering the TRA BOD bylaws irregularities and blowing the cover on the BOD.

BTW, NAR S&T chair Jack Kane has held that position for a LONG time. Since before TRA TMT existed IIRC.

The water is imported from elsewhere.

Without it, Socal is just a desert with lots of dry scrub.
