Sure, particularly on Aohell,which is what I obviously use. At the bottom of the main NG window, hit the 'preferences' button and you'll see an area to insert filters. Hit the arrow on that box and scroll down to "authors", type in whatever incarnation AZ is currently using (or anyone else's reply address), and they'll never show up when you open this NG. Only two problems I know of are that AZ keeps changing his reply address to circumvent the filters (he uses AOL too unfortunately) and you have to do this for every different NG you use--it's not a blanket filter for all NG's. Yesterday I contacted AOL about his antics and they said they'd look into it, so he may be in for a surprise. As far as Bill Woodier, I don't recall any posts from him that were in poor taste--AZ, on the other hand.....

Well. my mother passed away several years ago and I don't live in a basement (hers or mine). However, I did live in the bombed out basement of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense with the other SOCCENT troops for a couple weeks in Feb/Mar of 1991, does that count?
