The Kit I Really Want To See

I really would like to see someone come out with a C- 119 Cargo Plane in 1/48 Scale. With enough parts in the Box for the "Gun-Ship" and the "Troop-Carrier" versions of this very Outstanding Aircraft.

It is waaaaay too Long over do to have made this Plane. I am sure it would be welcomed by lots of modelers out there. I know it would be by me that's for sure.

Soooooo , to whom ever at which Model Companies may actually look at RMS.

PU--LEEEEEEESE make this example of an outstanding "Work-Horse" aircraft in 1'48 Scale with options for one of several versions (Gun-Ship & Troop-Carrier as well as the standard Cargo Version also.

As Long as i'm thinking of it please also include about 12 figures several Large machine Crates , a half dozen Drums. Please also include a Truck and a Jeep with a towed gun too

There - That should do it up rather nice.

But Really Please someone Do this Kit. Any -REAL- chance of this happening..?

I thought Italeri did such a kit. I know they had the 1/72 kit and sort of thought they also did the 1/48th. Am I confusing it with the C-130?

If there was a Boxcar in 1/48 I would have bought it already! I abandoned God's own scale once to build the Italeri C-119. 1/72 was all I could find.

I'd be all over a 1/48 Connie, like a cheap suit. I've drooled at the thoughts of the HML 1/48 Do 24t, the He 177, and the BV

138, but I knew if I bought them I'd never finish them as I am more of a "shake and baker" than a "multi-media monster" (Ok the price was an issue too!) But it looks like the Do 24 and the He 177 might soon be available!
