X-1 Forums address

Rich, I lost your post when I went looking for the forum. Anyway here's the address I have for it:

forums.x-plane.org/lofiversion/index.php?t18748.html

I hope that's enough to get you there. I went back to Google and typed in 'Bell X-1A' and this was on the 4th page of results.

BTW, the drawing in "Replica" is a different drawing. I had to cut and paste your url into Firefox because Netscape wasn't getting through. I think I'll be back there to browse some more.

Thanks Bill! There are some interesting discussion there and a couple of good links that I bookmarked.

I have to admit I am not following you on your "replica" comment. I understand having to cut and paste into firefox, but was there a picture or drawing that I had mentioned or that I am missing?

Keep in touch on your work, and I'll do the same if anything amazing pops up.

Pay no attention to the "Replica" blunder. The actual title of the magazine was "Aerophile" of which Jay Miller was the editor. The first two issues dealt with the X-planes right up to the X-28. IIRC, this magazine didn't last far beyond 1977 but I may be as wrong about that as I was the title. If you'd like a scan of the X-1A drawing I can do that for you.

Yes please. I am not going to be starting on the project right away, but I think we'd both forget if I didn't ask for it now. Than ks for your help. I owe you.
