I for one don't usually complain about what people post , God knows (pun intended) i've put up my share of Off Topic Posts from time to time in here.

But Geeeese , is there any Real way to get him to Stop Posting in here like this unless he makes some kind of effort to keep it to some type of Model or Hobby related topic in some way shape or form.

This is not really a Rant , just more of a Question about Posting to the Group.

The short answer is no; anybody with internet access can post on Newsgroups. What you can do is set up filters in your newsreader to leave those you indicate on the server so you don't see them. Which is by far the best option, rather than someone having Big Brother powers.

many email complaints to google have mad him nymshift and munge non stop. they need to filter his mac address, but good luck. i think he should get 10 years hard time and never be allowed on the net again.
