Do Clifford James also trade as Hobby Shop Express ?
It could be that the Clifford James item has a Mallard in 'Garter Blue', whereas the 'normal version of the Mallard Train set is Mallard in Green... Price seems about the same as 'normal' , but not as cheap as the 'discounters' by a large margin..

Interesting: 'The Cornish Riviera' set is described as a GWR train as running in the 1930s, but the loco illustrated carries British Railways (early crest) livery of the early-mid 1950s. Remarkable attention to detail! ;-)
