(aside from the fact that I never mentioned rockets, farless launches) If launches are operated "BY ARSA" clubs it certainly stands to reason that "ARSA"... and by "association" - members may be liable for actions occurring during launches. Of course I know how good the ARSA club insurance policy is. ;)
But... you really missed the whole point - which was in repsonse to your assertion that TRA members (and others) are at risk for for actions of the TRA leadership. I was trying to point out that members of the "unicorporated association" ARSA ARE at risk (liable) for actions of IT's leader(ship), where the members of "incorporated non profits" like TRA & NAR are not at risk (liable) for the actions of it's leadership.

That is generally true. I posted the caviat that in practice even unincorporated association members are not at unlimited risk because case law has tended to place blame on the "at fault" parties.
Do levels expire at NAR when membership does, or can a NAR member lapse for a year and return with their old number and cert level?

Unless that person has a personal vendetta that taints their views. Why not ask the current TMT about whether the alleged problems have been resolved?

Well, the whole point originally was to contrast the complaints of a lack of "openness and honesty" against TRA. Yet when basic questions are asked about ARSA, the self-proclaimed "facilitator of communication" danced all around going to great pains to be as vague and unhelpful as possible. So far, you've been equally unhelpful. So we see now that there is a marked contrast in the way standards of "openness and honesty" are applied to the two organizations.
