Estes Snapshot Flight Report

What got John Cato so upset was Tom taking John's data and screwing around with it and using it to certify motors tht John had never tested.

Plus little details like discovering that the BOD was illegally ammending the bylaws without telling the membership and operating outside their legal bounds.

I suppose, in a way I was. Isn't Shatner from Canada?

Randy

I just took a quick look at the TMT cert list to answer this. There are a bunch of motors on the list that expired last year to last month. I realize there is a 3 year grace period to use these up, but that does mean that any CURRENT production is not certified.

And a LOT of the blue links on the motor pages are broken, so you can't get to the data.

If it was 1996, it would have to have been retested at least twice since then. Move on.

Nope.

It's not.

"little details"

It probably hasn't been updated. A bunch of motors were recently retested and TMT Chair changes at LDRS.

Bullshit.

Good old boys network 100%

But was it?

Punish that!

People complain about Estes dropping their favorite motor types, but it seems that Aerotech, over the years, has discontinued more types than Estes ever had in the catalog in the first place.

Punish what? Take you medicine.

Well, if you didn't realise, my suggestion was somewhat in the light-hearted vein! I'm not entirely sure what you mean about learning to speak English, since I live *in England* and have done for almost all my life (and Scotland hardly counts a foreign), so unsurprisingly I am familiar with the language of this country! (And I have the certificates to prove it too :-) )

If you would be civil to each other in person, why not online? Unless I am missing something and all the name-calling and incivility is somehow lighthearted.

I thought he was from Iowa. He only works in Canada....

So, where are the test results? If they exist and are readily available, then I agree that it's time to move on.

KIRK is from Iowa.

Shatner is from Canada.

Keep your timelines straight :)

You missed that reference?!? I'll send someone over to take your phaser and tricorder, you're no longer worthy... :-)

I was poking fun at you over the english. I recently heard someone talking about how we're seperated by a common language.

As for Jerry, I'm mostly poking fun at him while debating a few details that don't make sense or are very old. I just laugh when he calls me or other people names. I don't think he's joking but if he would take his pills, he'd be over it in about 30 minutes.

I think he really meant "Learn to speak American..." It's not the same thing really. FWIW, most of us in the States don't hold your abuse of our language against you. :-)

The only motors Bob mentioned were 18mm. There are currently no 18mm motors listed as certified by TMT.
