Ebay question

Jan 11, 2007 15 Replies

In this auction, we have a replica handgun; I've never sold one of these before. I jumped through the hoops about not sending it worldwide and stuff, but is that right? It's spring-loaded and doesn't shoot anything dangerous, but Ebay's very particular about what can be sent outside of North America. Any ideas here?

better safe than sorry. keep it here.

Yeah it's styrene, so it can shoot little plastic pellets by spring action. Just good for target practice. On the other hand, it looks realistic enough that you could knock over a 7-11 with it! (not recommended!)

Australia is out, the Customs will confiscate it and prosecute the buyer for importation of a firearm.( even though it's a replica)

I would skip ebay all together. Try a gun show instead. If officials get all excited about the word "replica" then you might consider the use of "scale model" instead. Good Luck BA

Socialism's progress requires that the country's resources be managed most efficiently. All citizens are "resources" under Socialist doctrine and as that Canadian female Government Minister pointed out in a speech a couple of years ago "Men are more manageable when they are disarmed".

In Australia, it seems to depend on the particular state involved.

Cheers,

Socialism can only be enacted by force and loss of individual rights.

Force in that the individual is forced to pay an unnecessary amount of taxes to their govt. And loses individual freedoms as well.......

Bill's a good guy, even though he's politically and philosophically challenged... grins....

Sounds like one gets more heartless as one ages.
