Report #13 - 12 more Missouri Railroad Depots photos and some updates Are Up!! two for the modelers.

Dec 30, 2003 2 Replies

Hi All

This weeks bunch includes two new depots added to my list, and two I have comments about. First, At the Brunswick Depot. What is that device outside the depot? At the Sikeston Depot. No one would believe that a Depot as modern looking as that would have a telephone like I found in it. But it did!

Several people have been a great help providing information and photos for this collection. They are;

Steve Barker Bob Odom

And I'm sure one more that I can't find his name. I'm sorry, speak up and I'll correct that.

One more has shown up. William Bunch. He is an excellent Artist. He is letting me show some of his beautiful pen and ink drawings of Missouri Depots. Some of them are of depots long gone. He is also a wealth of information that will save me much time verifying current status of a lot of the depots.

Thanks again to all of you.

Train Order's Stand. (Name depends on railroad.) Hard copy train orders are suspended in a taunt string stretched in the frame. An engineer and than a conductor on a moving train can reach out and snag the orders while the train is moving.
