What are these (Bachmann Bulleid coaches)

Hi

I managed to get some of those Bachmann Bulleid brake ends in green. Transpired that Hattons was the only place that still had them while having none of the others! Anyway, they arrived this morning and are lovely. There is a small plastic bag within the box that contains a blanking plate for the read corridor but also a number of other bits, I can't work out what these are for. If you care to take a look at this link:

you will find a picture of them. Any ideas?

The extra bits are the step boards for just under the doors, and for the bogies (long ones are for the guard's end, short ones for the other end). You'll probably find you don't have enough to do all the different points where the step boards are, so you might need to contact Bachmann to get more packs (if they do them - I haven't asked them yet).

They're a bit fiddly to fit, as there are no mounting points specifically for them. For precise positioning, you'll need to refer to the prototypes, either via photos or by visiting examples at preserved/heritage lines.

In my onion, the coaches look better with them than without.

This is a page from the SEMG (Southern E Mail Group) and has a few pics.

It's a good group to join for Southern and Southern Region related railway matters, though the emails can get off topic a bit.
