Do you have My money?
Really?
From what to what else?
I ask.
Jerry Irv> At least we know for certain that is not the case WRT Tripoli. After
It wasn't always late, and for several years the members were very happy with the mag. Furthermore, since you are neither a member or subscriber, you're in no position to complain.
The only issue Jerry _really_ is upset about, since his motors are illegally manufactured and are illegal to ship. Everything else is just an excuse to bash TRA.
Liar. You know very well that TRA/NAR don't work in a vacuum on the NFPA. They can only submit proposals which must be approved by both the NFPA and the ATF. They can't write or pass any proposed codes that contradict current federal regulations of ATF, DOT, etc as defined by those agencies.
Of course, if you think you can do a better job, you could get a seat on the NFPA. Oh wait, they don't allow illegal manufacturers on the NFPA, do they?
tAt the meeting Saturday, it was announced that TRA has exercised their option to give HPR 90 days notice that HPR is no longer the official magazine and there will no longer be any relationship between HPR and TRA.
I assume Kevin will be removing all links to and mention of HPR from the TRA web site soon.
Jerry - It's time for you to start publishing your magazine.
What's the matter Jerry, has your mole stopped giving you information?
Factually . . . It was.
I fuilly understand facts shall not deter you.
I would be a member if my (bogus) 3 year expulsion were honored which it was not.
I was happy with the few issues I received. But I received so few. That matters.
Just plain simply false.
All but.
They are the "first line" of regulation writing and approval. If you had ever addressed the committe like I have several times, you would know that.
Complete bullshit. Since you have repeated this many times AFTER being corrected, I can see there is no persuading you of the fact.
Hence I can only say you are misguided and simply hope 100% of the participants and 99% of the observers simply know the truth.
Jerry
All I can say is this is a very welcome bit of news.
I say this as an advocate of a viable and LEGIT TRA corporation. Something which is MIA right now.
Jerry
You were offered to be readmitted with a few requirements. You declined.
WHat is currently being done that is not legit? We would like HQ to be elsewhere but that does not make it legit. The issue with Bob's friend being readmitted is being worked on. What else?
Out of curiousity, because I've seen this statement made by many folks many times, but what exactly WERE those requirements? If they were along the lines of paying more attention to TRA definitions of legalities, I'd be all for that. If they were along the lines of stop the (general) TRA bashing, I'd (probably) still be all for that. But if it was something like never, ever, ever say anything remotely bad about TRA, I don't think I'd agree.
Not trying to start a flame war here, just trying to see whether the requirements fall within my own personal definition of 'reasonable'.
David Erbas-White
Fetch. It all applies STILL.
Jerry
Ray, correct Me if I'm wrong. I think jerry had to apologize for his for his non waivered launches out at Lucerne, plus, promise not to do it again and to be good.
Thank you for asking.
Seriously.
I am NOT expecting a definitive answer. That way I cannot comply.
I was told I needed to make an apology with specific elements. So just to be SURE it was on the record I posted it to rmr as well as sending it to TRA.
Nothing.
Jerry
They asked him to appologize for breaking an FAA waiver and to promise never do it again. I don't recall anything about promising to stop TRA bashing. It is in a TR issue that came out right after LDRS - thinkn it was 2001 but can't swear to it.
Since you haven't mentioned anything, the answer is nothing.
To bad you refused to applogize and say you wouldn't do it again at the meeting at LDRS where they would have readmitted you. In fact here on rmr, I've seen you say you refuse to appologize because (according to you) you didn't do it.
Was there any discussion of a change on this front? TRA really needs to completely and totally seperate itself and its money from Bruce.
Bob Kaplow NAR # 18L >>> To reply, there's no internet on Mars (yet)!
Isn't that perhaps like the wrongly convicted prisoner who was repeatedly denied parole for failure to admit to what he hadn't done.
We still have several TRA members, including one BOD member, who refuse to admit to their past wrong doings, yet are still members. WHy are they treated different than Jerry?
As you are so fond of saying, forget the past. If Jerry would agree to not fly without waivers in the future, would that do?
Bob Kaplow NAR # 18L >>> To reply, there's no internet on Mars (yet)!
The entire releae/parole system is centrally based on this precept. Near as I can tell it is to make the employees of the system not feel guilty when an innocent person wants to profess his innocence on release.
Can't have that, can we?
Duress to the end.
They are on the BOD and are special?
You have to admit, they have been vetted for secrecy maintenaince.
I already did and even posted many post TRA removal waivers and FAA is fine with me unlike TRA.
