NAR BoD declines Wickman leadership in legislative action

If you were so afraid of the BATF, why did you bother getting a LEUP in the first place? Their policy on requiring you to "show them your papers" hasn't changed.

Also, why would you stop flying restricted motors if you don't renew your LEUP? I'm sure you go to launches and would still have friends with LEUPs.

Doing your best still to scare people away from the hobby?

A bunker might be more comfortable.

(hmmm...international forum that can be read by anyone...time for the Ollie defense)

I have no recollection of those events.

So tell them to "come on in, the water is fine"? Knowing full well that Jaws is swimming around out there?

What's it like being such a fun-gi? Growing in the dark under a rock?

How about telling them where the sharks are so they can choose where to swim? "Of course, there *could* be alligators *anywhere*, you never know!" A lake, a munincipal pool, local swimming hole, the kiddie pool in the back yard... (Kurt jumps back under a rock).

Everybody sing along with John...it's the "happy happy joy joy" song!

(John trips and stumbles as he takes another toke on the "happy" pipe)

Looks like there are several good reasons not to get an explosives license for exempt materials.

I was a big Pink Floyd fan when I was younger and several years ago, I attended a company-sponsored training program dealing with "attitudinal behaviors in the workplace". He specifically mentioned Pink Floyd's lyrics as having an adverse effect on youth. Who was I to argue as I sat there thinking about corporate brainwashing and being "broken by professionals". >;-)

That he does. It's a shame he didn't make Admiral before retiring...

But it wasn't JW that made the proposal to the NAR, it was "izzy"...

Thus my one person comment.

Except Kyte has the connections on the hill. Trip has connections in the pentagon. The solution to our problems is NOT in the pentagon. They would be a lot more rational and intelligent than either the BATFE or the congress.

Missed the point.

His connections and experience in the Pentagon have far more weight on the hill than some shill for an insignificant little non-profit.
