If you were so afraid of the BATF, why did you bother getting a LEUP in the first place? Their policy on requiring you to "show them your papers" hasn't changed.
Also, why would you stop flying restricted motors if you don't renew your LEUP? I'm sure you go to launches and would still have friends with LEUPs.

I was a big Pink Floyd fan when I was younger and several years ago, I attended a company-sponsored training program dealing with "attitudinal behaviors in the workplace". Except Kyte has the connections on the hill. Trip has connections in the pentagon. The solution to our problems is NOT in the pentagon. They would be a lot more rational and intelligent than either the BATFE or the congress.
