OOPS Tape measure at the repair shop. Forgot about the bow and stern pieces. Guess I was stunned. Yep seam city and it looks so pretty in the box.

On the Will Rogers turnpike heading north to Tulsa there is a sub off to the right about 50-75 miles?? out. Is that a Gato? It was just sitting there a feww hundred yards off the pike. Sitting in a field with a few buildings close by.

NOW we're gettin' somewhere...

...although right now I'm sort of partial to "when you get out of the hospital, let me back into your life"...

try waving a small box obvioulsy from a jeweler first. while the delighted shreiking is going on, run the big box in. and just in case, have another piece of bling as backup.

When I get mine, I will make it the U.S.S. Drum because I got some pictures of it from front to back.

Modern Lovers...

I got out of the hospital a day ago - just spent two weeks trying not to bleed to death. Went in for a colonosopy about three weeks ago and couldn't stop bleeding afterwards. Lost 30% of my blood volume during the worst of it; got my first blood transfusion out of the deal. (after I was stable enough to retain it.) So now I'm rehabing...on indefinate medical LOA. Time for a break...maybe I'll finish some kits now.

f*ck man, why didn't you call? i would have visited. well, if you need anything, lmk. i'm glad you missed the checkout window. i had an ecoli infection in 99 and was a day away from the gates of hell. the only one that could figure it out was a filipino resident who risked his career because no one believed him. he finally go the right slides and his deptartment head, to his credit, did a full 180 and put the guy on. i was so full of antibiotics it wasn't funny but it worked and i didn't even lose any liver function. and yep, i go to his office every month in vegas. so.......shoot me some email if you get bored or need something. i can hit the model shop or whatever.

Was sort of off the grid...took three trips to the ER just to get admitted.

Begining to look like I can't tolerate the local tap water any more - I may have been further intensively chemically poisoned by the water I used during the prep, we're doing more tests to find out just what type of attack I had. I'll be heading back to Chi-town with my folks (who are here now) for a bit to get some further input. I'm still pretty weak, but I'm walkin'.

well, ok, but don't be afraid to holler. and keep us up on stuff. locals don't drink the water here either.

...my mother is ready to instigate a Federal study.

I sure will be glad to get my strength back, when it comes...I'm movin', but I'm movin' mighty slow. Went to the mailbox and back, and now I'm probably done for the evening.

I think you're right...the more I stay upright, the better I'm begining to feel. Been flopped out for the past few hours, though.

And I need to get off the drugs...never been this medicated for this long before. All the steriods have me punchy. Followed up with the doc this morning, and he's ready to start tapering me off the Prednizone...that's bad stuff. Will take me a couple weeks to get off it - have to taper in 5 mg increments over a series of days at a time.
