Au Conatraire` my friend, he is NOT MINE! However, not bruising the merchandise is a good thing because everyone wants a part of this fish.

Yeah! Better we put Saddam back in power so he can kill another two million of his own people!

Hopefully you won't actually find out what's going on over there! The shock could damage your fragile view of the world!

Hey DH! The thing you don't understand is the fact that they want to dance on your grave too! Hmmm! Something I can agree with them on.

So, Saddam is assumed to be innocent until proven guilty by the Iraqis in the trial later this year.

So, if that is the case then the US has admittedly by its own laws invaded the country ruled by an innocent president, murdered his children, and slaughted his soldiers and his citizens.

Nice one yanks. Hate to see what you guys would do to someone PROVED guilty!!

Nonsense, foolish asstralian. There is ample evidence to justify the invasion of Iraq and the arrest of Saddam. Now comes the trial (in an Iraqi court) to determine Saddam's guilt and punishment for his crimes against his own former people. Note that there is no mention of USA courts or laws. We generally consider it wise to apply the Rights held by our citizens only to our citizens, and not to every rag-tag asshole the world vomits up in our path.

He may win, I don't know, but landslide? He barely lost the last election. (total votes) I am aware of our electoral system, yes.

Bush offering up a prayer is a front to make the conservative christians happy and keep the $$$ flowing in. Bush even said he had no problem with Cheney's language on the house floor. I'm sure that made a bunch of Baptist preachers real happy! Bush and his boys have a knack for alienating even their supporters. One termer, that's for sure! People are fed up with his B.S.!

Only ONE Scud? So the media reported on the same one several time?

As for the dismantled programs! I guess those scuds my friends Marine unit captured this time were simply imaginary. Wonder how he had his picture taken with imaginary scuds? Hmmmm!

Yes, but if you live somewhere, and can legally prove it, the problem is solved.

In this country you need some way of identifying that you are who you say you are - a passport suffices - and something that shows you live where you say you do. Usually a couple of bills to your address in your name suffice.

US military personnel have no problem in opening UK bank accounts as the majority of them are off base resident. With a bank account you can get a credit card etc.

This is all legal enough in that the banks are merely required to offer adequate evidence that you are who you say you are and live where you say you live. They don't actually care, they just have to be seen to be complying with the regulations.

Or have you been living in teh UK for the last 30 years and know different?

Hmm. So the US postal service is not a fancy delivery system.

And Saddam didnt' need one.

So why all the fuss about missiles then? when none could target the US as effectively as its own postal system?

Why not simply ground every american aircraft, since they were the delivery systems that caused the most damage?

Invade Seattle, because Boeing's aircraft have been implicated directly in both major terrorist incidents on US soil.

You KNOW it makes as much sense as invading Iraq.

You can shift it around as much as you like, but a few kilos of anthrax is a darned sight easier to smuggle round the world than the hundreds of tons of heroin that is trafficked monthly. And does far more damage actually.

And the only tow places that Anthrax exists are in the USA and Russian weapons labs. Possibly a little in the UK. Saddam never had and never could have acquired it, besides it wasn't his style. Nerve gas was his style.

Again tho, the logic is flawed - he wanted nerve gas in his country to use against iraqis and invaders. If he wanted to put a kilo of Sarin on the NY metro, the best thing to do is send a team over to the USA and make it there.

But if he had, he would have been invaded just the same and with teh rest of te world fully in support. you don't get to stay president being that stupid, for very long. As Dubya will discover.

Stop emoting and start thinking for yourself, not listening to propaganda.

The whole Iraqi invasion rational is on et neo conservative website.

It has nothing to do with any of the stated reasons.

Nah. Leave the yanks there. They do it so much more efficeintly, and we get to see the videos

Sieg Rumsfeld!

Hopefully from your point of view too. Its been a real eye opener just how nasty the average grunt can be, when his officers tell him its OK to be.

I don't think so actually, but never mind.

Dunno actually. You really are rather lacking in finesse, aren't you?

I am sorry if I use big words that you don't understand. But then you don't understand very much at all anyway, so it makes no real difference.

Now you are incoherant. I guess you get light headed when you see actual proof. That was from the State of the Union address, not a prayer. I am not aware of Cheney using inappropriate language on the house floor. Unless you are talking about what he whispered in a demoncrats ear, which was entirely appropriate.
