What constitutes "timely?" What constitutes "transfer?"

That's the most disingenuous statement made on rmr in two calendar years.

Let's see if you can based on reading the TRA website tell me the RENEWAL cert guidelines.

I read it as money and motors with the motors shipped to them.

No wedon't. We onlyhave tohave ACS submitthemotorsremember? Once they are approved it is up to ACS to notify the certifying agency whether or not to list them as certified in their own name or that of brand names.

You have "helped" enough already. Besides based on this post you would certainly ask the wrong question.

You may be an expert at packaging and marking and paperworking hazmat (as if hazmat needs all of that crap to be safely shipped by the same carriers and same methods as without it), but you are a newbie at classification and approval.

Let's compare face to face. We will each bring our STACK of EX numbers :)

And we will each have NONE!

Would not having EX numbers mean that you ARE a manufacturer?

Not sure of all the "constitudes", but that is what the DOT rep told me.

By that reasoning, he could claim his propellent uses the same "tested" formula as CTI, AT, AMW or Ellis. Just because someone else once had their propellant testes doesn't mean he (or anyone else) can whip up a batch and call it "DOT approved".

Yep, but a well educated newbie to "classification and approval".

Explain???

Go fetch...

IMO, Your attempting to irrationally rationalize reality, to support your irrational interpatation of what you must do to be compliant with reality.

What's not "legitimate" about the way the motors were actually outsourced?

What would he have to do differently for it to be "legitimate"?

So you just have the word of some gov't staffers? Did they cite an applicable CFR reference where this issue of "timely transfer" is specified?

Interesting turn of phrase...

The person I talked to was not "just some gov't staffer" and no, I did not ask for a CFR reference; you want the name and telephone #???

Fred

Nah, no need to telephone anyone - my interest is more historical than anything; I was just hoping for a pointer to what section in the regulations to look up what it says about this "timely transfer" stuff...
